Planet Eat has given me excellent experience in long-form editing. The content is for an online food tv subscription platform, featuring high end restaurants and chef personalities. These are often multi-cam shoots, filmed ‘as live’ in an onsite studio, or on location filmed as documentary style programmes. I also make attention grabbing promotions and trailers for social platforms including InstaStories and Facebook ads. I take ownership of all post-production duties including managing the edit schedule, organisation of hard drives, back-ups of footage, and consolidation of older projects. During my time here, subscriptions to the VOD service, as well as social media interactions, have hugely increased and the post-production workflow is now streamlined and organised. Receiving a few credits on Amazon Prime for my work at Planet Eat, has definitely been rewarding.
