About me

I am an experienced editor with a very good eye, a storyteller who can bring films to life, quickly shape narrative and identify how a story is going to work. Experienced in grading and sound mixing. I am also an illustrator and motion graphic designer who can respond to briefs with original ideas, and create storyboards, illustrations and animations. I am very versatile and creative, and get a lot of inspiration and input from studying fine art in my spare time I have extensive experience on flagship BBC programmes and three and a half years experience editing and designing digital and social content. I pay close attention to detail, keeps a good overview of complex tasks and remain calm and focused under pressure. I am pro-active in seeing all projects I work on through from beginning to end. I am fluent in English, German and Italian and a good script- and copywriter.

Mesut Özil gets a haircutBehind the scenes video of new Arsenal kit launch. Adidas asked us to create social content using the footage from their original launch video, featuring Arsenal players that had been dubbed over with London accents. I trawled through the rushes and created three Instagram films featuring the players in their own, non-dubbed voices.

Open Up, Shark! BBC Taster ‘Scrubbables’An illustration and animation project I did for the BBC Digital Storytelling team. I illustrated in watercolour and pencil, assembled in Photoshop and animated the whole thing in After Effects. It was published on the BBC Taster website.
Chinese School - are our kids tough enough?For a collaboration between BBC News and Digital Storytelling, to promote BBC Two programme “Are Our Kids Tough enough? Chinese School”, I developed ideas and style frames and created 13 illustrations for an online comic that went out on BBC Taster.

Created and animated illustrations. Edited series of 10 minute films about deforestation in Africa for the REDD+ programme.
