Working with the creative agency to design the magazine's content and theme. • Informed the entire membership body of planned events, program updates and news on a weekly basis.

        • For the past 3 and a half years I was running their social media platforms, creating brand awareness and promoting daily their articles and projects, including their political literacy course. As of July 2018 I cam on board full time and took over their entire communications, sale and marketing department. Generating new marketing campaigns, including using our YouTube channel to promote our media literacy work. Using my skills from retail to sell our courses and workshops to schools and businesses who would be interested in sponsoring the course. These sales have been done through phone calls, e-mails and meetings with last quarter me going above my needed target and getting 36 sales overall. creating lasting new relationships with notable organisations, like UBS, Docsociety and UK Youth, and brands, like Misspap, to promote our new corporate packages. Through the communications side I have update our social media platforms, undertaking research to look into the newest trends and recreating them to grow our following. In the past 6 months our follower count across all platforms has raised from 12k to 13k overall. Alongside running these departments I have also undertaken roles in project co-ordination for our Media Minded events last month and am in charge of the interns, interviewing them and overseeing their day to day tasks. I also run diary management for the CEO and other members of staff and am in charge of travel logistics for any travelling that may occur, including hotels, planes and trains.

        • I worked various roles including: Supporting NEETs and YOS students at a local homework club in Lewisham, moderating the MA starters facebook groups which included finding engaging content for the users and answering any queries and complaints they may have. I also worked on events, helping set-up the day and show people around as well as worked on the mental health campaign 'be well, do well' which was aimed at tackling exam stress. As well as my mandatory modules I also took modules in the following; Political Communications, Online Journalism and Politics of Human Rights. I focused my dissertation on looking at the way that the media and LGBT+ organisations' language framed equal marriage as a human rights or a social rights and if a particular framing showed media support for the campaign.
