Katy Austin (She/They) is a illustrator, animator from the UK - specialising in event posters, merchandise and packaging design in the music industry, and editorial illustration.
Aside from design, Katy teaches part time at the University for the Creative Arts as a Risograph technician, which is her favourite print process. She also graduated from UCA with a masters degree in Visual Communication in 2020, and bachelors degree in Illustration/Animation in 2018.
Katy's work is inspired by her love of live music and the nostalgia of early 2000's emo. Playfully incorporating print like textures, graphic line art and bold colours.
