About me
Hello! I’m Katy and I'm a digital marketing expert, social media wizz and creative geek. I have worked within the marketing industry for the last 9 years, specialising in Digital Marketing, Social Media Strategy and Content development. I pride myself on ability to adapt to contrasting brand tones and to stay ahead of new marketing trends. In addition to my full time marketing roles, I started a creative brand in 2017 where I have built up a following of over 45,000 and have generated over 800 sales within a two year period purely through social media.     Maudsley Learning launched in January 2019 and is a non for profit mental health charity, the education and training arm of South London & Maudsley NHS foundation trust. Our mission is to produce the highest quality mental health and wellbeing education and training products. Using the expertise at the Maudsley, we aim to educate and train healthcare professionals where there are gaps in mental health training. Here I work alongside the head of marketing to increase awareness of the Maudsley Learning brand. Although it is part of the NHS trust, Maudsley learning is a commercially ran product, relying on the money brought in by B2B and B2C sales to remain in operation. Therfore, it runs much like high paced start up. Over the past year, I have championed the set up of all the marketing systems including: email & data CRM (Hubspot), social media management system (Hootsuite), new website (wordpress), SEO (YOAST and SEMrush). In addition I have set up Google Adwords campaigns and full heatmapping on the site using Google Tag Manager. In our first year we hit £1.5million with no database and a budget of £60k. Key tasks/achievements: ● Optimise the ML site's metadata & website updates/maintenance ● Project managed the development of a new e-commerce website and e-learning platform ● Website copywriting ● Weekly newsletters & e-campaigns ● Set up various different data capture strategies which generated 50,000 new subscribers within a 12 month period ● Generated £1.5 million in sales in the first year of operation ● Worked with various 3rd party data providers such as Willmington Healthcare ● Worked with various 3rd healthcare specific publishing companies ● Set up partnerships with various influencers within mental health ● Social media strategy and content ● Weekly reporting and in depth analysis ● Data driven marketing campaigns ● Managed an SEO agency
