KAYLEE BIRD was born and raised in Key West, Florida. Flung into the renegade scenes of New York City, she attended New York University, majoring in Film and Television Production, while specializing in Producing and Business. Post-grad, Ms. Bird has volunteered seasonally for the Tribeca Film Festival since 2011. Following, she worked for the Production Management Team for MTV’s long-running, Emmy Award-winning series, MADE in 2012. Ms. Bird began designing Festival Press Kits for feature documentaries shortly after working for MTV Networks. Most recently, Ms. Bird has been getting in touch with her roots in England and Ireland. While in Ireland, she’s had the opportunity to assist a Director on a number of music videos. She hopes to continue to work on film in Ireland and England in the near future. Furthermore, at present, Ms. Bird is presently pursuing higher education, and is working on developing her own boutique production company, Three Bird Pictures.

Assistant Directed music video for the artist "Rainy Boy Sleep" to be distributed by Universal. Worked with Director, Thomas Hefferon and Producer, Darren Mahon on casting and managing 25 extras for the previous to the music video shoot.. During production, tasks included managing and organizing space for the extras as well as keeping them in the know on legal details and timing of the shoot.
Assisted Director, Thomas Hefferon, and Producers, Darren Mahon and Vincent Lambe in the creation of call sheets, supervised on legal details for the music video “In Flight” by Daithí for Sony Music. Tasks heavily involved working directly with the Producers, handling both cast and crew communication.
Provided detailed sound consultation for doc’s final sound mix and designed 1-sheet and postcards for film’s festival press kit.

Acted as P.A. to Producer, Lauren Lazin production crew on the first ever “TeenNick Halo Awards." Additionally, I was able to work on two Rock Docs: "Soul Train, The Hippest Trip," and another on the band, "The Police."
Produced and shot professional, 8-minute short film with 7 cast, 22 crew, and 20 extras through intensive course at NYU.
