Barrista at the University Library Cafe. Very demanding in terms of customer volume. Clear communication skills and the ability to work as part of cohesive team were absolutely necessary. The production of drinks required attention to detail, as the quality of the products where of a high standard. Furthermore, level of versatility was required as interacting with customers was essential - to provide good service. Also, I was required to prepare panini's and salads, whilst juggling my role as Barrista.

    Brand AmbassadorRaptor London
     - Birmingham, United KingdomFreelance
I have been employed several times, over different campaigns, as a Brand Ambassador for Raptor Marketing London. The job roles varied with each campaign, however there was a universal sales aspect and social media promotion for each campaign. Responsibilities included promoting brand exposure in the student environment by sharing tailored posts to student pages on social media. Furthermore, ambassadors are required the promote the brand through social interactions, be it in the everyday social experience- or at ad-hoc events such as in nightclubs. Such a role requires a great deal of organisation to balance with studies and keep up to date with Raptors deadlines. While also requiring a personable and sociable representative approach to sales in representing the brand(s) at all times.

International Relations with EconomicsUniversity of Birmingham
    Birmingham, United Kingdom
A 3 Year course consisting of courses in; Political Philosophy, International Relations Theory, Radical Political Critique, 'New Media' and Social Media in International Politics, Comparative Politics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Behavioural Economics, Topics in Economic Theory (Econometrics), Mathematics and Statistics for Economics. My Final Year Thesis centred around 'Systematic Racism in Mass Media: Rhetoric and Structure'. This research project analysed racist bias, both conscious and unconscious in media outlets across the ideological spectrum. The focus of research was Qualitative and Quantitative. The content of media surrounding Donald Trump's Travel ban was analysed, this included articles, pictures, and videos. The skill set for content analysis used a 'coding' methodology to create a scale for racial content, while also using techniques other media analysis courses during my time at university. Furthermore the research included the organisation of focus groups and interviews to determine the general public's views on the content that was analysed.
