I am the owner of The Keely Collective a textile and Graphic design service and print shop, based in Brisbane, Australia specialising in fashion branding identity and development & Textiles repeat print patterns for fashion and interiors. We also provide a print library of non-exclusive prints for sale.
I also work in a graphic design studio called Portfolio, working on a wide range of projects and idenity development.
previously worked as an In-house Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant for a company called Face Plus Medispa in Sydney. In this role, I am responsible for all design, advertising and social media material and website management. This involves creating social media/advertising content of all types: Blog posts, product uploads and EDMs etc. editing the content and subsequently pushing it out to the Face Plus Medispa website, Instagram and/or other appropriate channels. In addition, I will often be asked to do studio photography and editing for advertising initiatives.
In this role, I have further developed my skills in high attention to detail, good time/project management, multi-tasking and organisational skills as I am the sole designer in the company. Working closely with the Marketing manager, I have developed the skills to be able to back brief and extract important information to do my role as efficiently as possible and to work within strict weekly deadlines. And to be able to communicate effectively with Web-developers and Printers to manage print and design jobs.
I am also currently working as a personal assistant to a director on a short thriller film, where organization is key to a successful and smooth production. I have had the opportunity to work along side videographers and other creatives, gaining experiences and skills in other creative fields other than just graphic design.Previously, I was employed as the Blitz Magazine Designer at Arc UNSW between Feb 2014 and Feb 2015. This involved working proactively under pressure to meet publication deadlines. In this role, I was self-motivated to work independently while also working within teams with editors and the marketing department. A key requirement of the role was to meet specific print production requirements for each publication.
Apart from working at Blitz, I have also worked independently with business owners and other creative staff on a freelance basis. For example, I have done work for fashion label Foxton Danger, property businesses, Triple Shot Creative, Marquee Projects, Elders Project Marketing, and much more. I have completed a Bachelor of Design (Majoring in graphic media and textiles), where I gained experience in patterns making and fabric printing in addition to my graphic design and printing skills. I had the opportunity to teach Photoshop to school students and In 2015 I was fortunate to go on a university exchange to Vancouver, Canada. I attended the University of British Colombia for six months and chose to do film studies and photography, always wanting to grow and widen my skill set and not be limited to just graphic design.
I am looking for a role where I get to be part of a team of people who are as enthusiastic and hard working as myself. I have a confident, bubbly persona and I am relaxed under pressure. I work well with all types of people and have always been able to get things done quickly and efficiently.
