About me
My name is Keidi Logan and I am originally from Scotland. I am a highly creative person, I have good technical skills, and I have aspirations of one day being a cinematographer. In my late-teens and early twenties I had some work experience roles (i.e. unpaid) in short films, however there weren't a lot of entry/junior-level roles in Scotland and because of this I took to doing some work in the theatre environment which I enjoyed and I am good at but the world of filmmaking is where I am most comfortable and at my happiest. I have recently relocated to being just outside London, and I was fortunate enough to get a 6-month trainee role in Lighting last year, which I loved, I learned a great deal and became very confident in my skills and capabilities. I am passionate about film and photography, I have experience in fast-paced working environments, working effectively as part of a team and on my own, I am an adaptable person and a dedicated worker. I am regularly on the lookout for work in the creative sector that suits my skill set, I am confident I can utilise my technical knowledge and interpersonal skills, but would be very happy to have an opportunity to learn new things and to expand my horizons.

Electrical and Lighting TraineeSixty Forty Productions
     - Aylesbury, United KingdomFull Time
I worked as the Trainee in the Electrical and Lighting Department for an Apple TV Production 'Kingdom'. I was working mainly in a studio environment and doing some location shoots; I learnt a great deal on television production works, I became very familiar with different set-ups and equipment. I learnt a lot and became more confident in my technical abilities. I learned a range of things from working the generators, to rigging and derigging sets, to making and setting up frames and more generally about diffusion, the use of polys and textiles, loading and unloading the trucks, keeping equipment in good condition and ready to use, and gained knowledge and experience in various cables - just to summarise some of the training and work for this role on-set. Some of the lights I was especially familiarised with were Astera tubes and Rosco dashes - they, in particular, were used a great deal in this production - but also the Arri 360, Arri S60, Arri S30, Vortex 8, Vortex 4, Q8, Q5, M18 and M90.

I was familiarised with the Arri Alexa Mini, and gained experience changing anamorphic lenses, diopters, and ND filters and working the clapper board. I would assist the Gaffer in helping to set the lighting, and also would set up the monitor for the Director.

Creative Industries: Television HNDCity of Glasgow College
     - Glasgow, United Kingdom
I studied at City of Glasgow College full-time for two years to acquire an HND in Creative Industries: Television Production. The course was designed to be more of a work environment and was a very hands-on practical education and I found this to be incredibly helpful in preparing me for future roles in the industry - I gained experience in sound operations and television production projects and learned in detail planning/research, production, and post-production. Whilst here I was involved in 20+ multi-camera television studio-style productions involving all role functions; six location productions all involving pre-production planning to post-production processes. In various works at the college, I had first-hand experience in a range of roles and responsibilities as a cameraman, floor manager, editor and the editorial works, director, production manager, lighting, sound dubbing, boom operator, runner, prompter, and focus puller.
