Business Development Executive
GDC Events is a creative events company that specialises in bespoke designs for a wide variety of events across the UK and Europe. Initially working with GDC as a stylist, over the course of a year and a half, I gained valuable experience understanding the company’s structure, and was asked to come on board for a three month period on a part time basis to assist the Creative Director and Managing Director with developing new business. This was over a year ago, and in that time I have continued to assist with on site installations as well as prop building, but focused much more on assisting the company’s growth by advising on website redevelopment, producing the copy for newsletters in liaison with the Creative Director, creating and maintaining a growing prospect database, and nurturing new and existing clients, and re establishing a social media presence.
