I'm here to make sure IFFR's stories reach the hearts of our many audiences, connecting with film lovers and professionals in the freshest ways, and through the right online channels. • Copywriting and editing • Content strategy and comms planning for a suite of digital channels • Interviewing artists and filmmaking talent • Commissioning writers and translators • Content concepts and briefing video editors and/or designers • Audience engagement strategy/community building (from cinephile to first-time audiences) • Directing key social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube) • Social media schedules for IFFR Pro (the festival's industry strand) • Overseeing Hubert Bals Fund, IFFR Short Film, and IFFR Young Selectors (eduction) channels • Overseeing strategy for social media reporters (Instagram stories) during the festival period • Social media/paid ad campaigns • Newsletters, app content and UX writing for new digital tools • Presenting weekly stats/analysis updates and content planning for team meetings • Working closely with a number of departments and stakeholders including press, programme, development, education, and industry professionals.
