I am a student at CUoL studying BSc Music, Sound & Technology, eager to dive into the video games and film industries. I excelled in various sound design assignments during my academic career, consistently receiving top grades and promising feedback from examiners/professors. My education has provided me with a strong foundation in audio production, including sound layering, editing, and synthesis, all of which I am passionate about refining and expanding.
My enthusiasm for creating immersive audio environments is driven by a commitment to enhance storytelling and gameplay through innovative sound design. I am particularly skilled in crafting dynamic sound effects and ambient soundscapes that engage audiences deeply. As I transition from academic success to professional growth, I am eager to apply my skills in real-world projects and learn from industry leaders.
I am looking for opportunities to collaborate with industry professionals and forward-thinking teams, where I can contribute my knowledge and practise new techniques. I am excited to see how my sound design and engineering can add depth to projects and create memorable experiences for audiences.
Projects
- Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Finale IntroSound Design by Kenneth Barba. For this university assignment, I was tasked to sound design any scene or sequence and was allowed to use any sound. I chose this anime intro due to the diverse visuals, which meant I could use a variety of sound design techniques to achieve my desired outcome/sound.
- 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' Office Fight SceneSound Design by Kenneth Barba. This was an assignment I did, where I was given a limited sound bank to use in sound designing any film scene. The limited resources forced me to think outside the box and improved my audio manipulation, engineering and designing skills.
