Leading Digital Visitor's small but perfectly formed social media team, I oversaw all content creation, community management, advertising and design work for a wide range of travel and tourism clients.
As CRUK's Event Social Media Manager, I was responsible for social media strategy development and implementation for the charity's main mass-participation events, including Race for Life, Tough 10 and SlideRider. This activity covered participant acquisition and loyalty, brand advertising, at-event and live amplification, customer support and thanking, alongside everyday editorial. My priorities on a day-to-day basis included managing a small team to create shareable and emotive content for our social channels, managing a large paid social budget, delivering excellent community management and customer service, integrating with our over-arching marketing and PR campaigns and experiential activity and collaborating with external agencies to develop digital builds. During my time in the role I also provided ongoing social media training for members of the team and launched a regional network of Twitter accounts with local event and marketing teams.
As an Account Manager, I created and implemented Social Media campaigns for a wide range of entertainment and cultural clients including Universal, BFI London Film Festival, Red Planet Pictures, Momentum, Kudos Productions, HBO, Fox, Pathe, Warner Brothers, Lionsgate, Comedy Central, A&E Networks and Harper Collins. Responsibilities included strategy, content planning and production, community management, live-tweeting for events and TV, reporting, new business development, pitching, account management and team management. I also created social media training sessions and documents for celebrities and clients.
During my time at Wunderman I produced content and social media research for a variety of clients including Nokia, Range Rover, Pringles and Ford.
I worked as a Community Executive across various accounts including STA Travel, Canon, Aussie Haircare, Miele and Nokia. Tasks included community management, copywriting, blogger research, producing creative content and working on various strategies for the clients.
