Design of show and event guides specifically the advertisers sections which range from a 10 pages up100 in extreme cases. Worked on guides over three years for London Boat Show, Southampton Boat Show, National Wedding Show, BBC Good Food, National House Building Show. Produced templates and style sheets to brand guide lines and collaborated with other designers to ensure brand guidelines were followed. Used InDesign and Quark add extensions to bring in data and images and formatting pages. With many client changes the need for a fast and slick turnaround often to tight deadlines was important. Part of my role also included design of adverts for a wide range of clients in the guides and magazines produced by the publisher. My role was also to trouble shoot adverts submitted by agencies and in-house design teams to ensure they met the requirements for prepress.
