About me
I was born in Nairobi, Kenya in 1966 and educated in England. I studied Technical Illustration at Medway College of Design and in 1987 after a 4 year course I began my career as freelance illustrator.
Even from an early age, the things I loved drawing were related to machines, particularly aircraft and therefore I naturally developed my skills as a technical illustrator. In the early days, my work was traditionally drawn with technical pens, ellipse templates and then airbrushed but now all of my work is produced digitally. The majority are created using a combination of Cinema 4D and Photoshop as these programs allow me to produce realistic, clean and precise work to suit my style.
As my career progressed I was given broader challenges and now enjoy a wide spectrum of work that our industry offers, some samples of which can be seen in my portfolio. I have gained experience at working alongside my clients from either the Initial Conception stage, or taking an already precisely visualised brief on to the final artwork.
With all commissions, my aim is the same: to communicate my client's vision into a meaningful, concise and understandable image and to make sure they receive exactly what they have asked me to deliver as my clients satisfaction is all that matters. Achieving these goals is also immensely satisfying for me and I am proud to say that some of my earliest client's are still using my services today.
Please take a look at my portfolio and if you are interested in finding out more about what I can offer you and your company then please get in touch, it would be great to talk to you.
