Kiah Nicole Fisher, a London based multidisciplinary creative of Caribbean decent, enjoys combining aspects of fine art, digital and textile design. An image creator influenced by ideas, theories and literature, who through textiles visualises and highlights the relationship between art and science resulting in energetic pieces of artwork. Fisher’s chosen mediums range from traditional processes such as drawing and painting, to digital processes, such as digital embroidery, photography and digital printing, developing dynamic layered pieces of work.
Within her practice, her work is often a visual journey of learning and exploring ancient civilisations and historical events, and how these points in our history have contributed to how we live our lives now, visualising what she has learnt with tools and processes she enjoys using.
