I am a student studying MA Magazine Journalism at the University of Sheffield. I'm a fashion and football fanatic, with experience in various facets of the fashion industry. I am the co-founder of 5WFootball, a website and podcast dedicated to long-form, curated football journalism. I am also the co-founder of Munu, an upcoming lifestyle brand selling high-quality, responsibly manufactured clothing and putting out well-written, progressive journalism.

Munu is a multi-disciplinary lifestyle brand launching in September 2019. Half of the brand is clothing, which places a focus on ethical and sustainable production. The other half is progressive journalism placing an emphasis on sustainable living. The design of the clothing and the editorial duties are executed by me. We have been awarded a BSEEN grant for the project, enabling us to launch with a collection of clothes and a tailor-made website/e-commerce platform.

Four course mates and myself created a website dedicated to long form, curated football journalism. We now receive around 1000 views per week and upload articles daily, managing the website alongside our degrees. We are now in the process of monetising the website. We also do a weekly podcast, which has improved my capabilities in broadcast journalism. I write and edit regularly for the site.

On my MA Magazine Journalism course I have learned both how to write for a magazine, and how to manage a magazine as a business. It has taught me how to use InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro and Reaper, and I have done an extra qualification which is NCTJ accredited. I also have 60wpm shorthand and am working towards 100wpm. I have created an individual magazine brand about football and fashion, which includes a full business plan. I am also editor for our production week, and will create a full magazine as my final project, maintained digitally and over social media for a number of months.
