I am currently completing a bachelors degree in graphic design. When it comes to design experience I have 2 years of freelance work paired with shadowing the senior graphic designer at Cardiff University during the summer of 2018. This has given me a diverse range of skills and projects varying from: conceptualisation, branding, editorial designs, print designs and web designs.
I have a genuine passion for creating content and designs, and am proficient in using design software. However I also posses the dedication to learn new processes and technology.
I truly believe I am talented at working well in a team environment as well as individually.
Through various university submissions, and from undertaking freelance projects, I have developed Strong organisational skills, the ability to work well under pressure and a keen eye for detail. I am certain that these attributes would make me a valuable addition most design teams.
I am very keen to gain new skills and experience such as using new technologies and learning from others. The opportunity to do this is what I am looking for, along with the possibility of taking on new responsibilities.

During the Summer of 2018 I worked as a junior designer and shadowed the senior designer and brand manager for Cardiff University. During this time I created a map of the new JOMEC building that showed all the library resources available and a chaplaincy leaflet for the University. I also gave creative input into the design of hoardings around the universities rugby pitch as well as learning key skills from the senior designer and observing their day to day activities and responsibilities.

I developed a brand identity for this franchisee of a major fast food company. This identity included graphic elements, logos and letterheads. I also created a large scale printed map of the stores and locations related to this company with the visual elements of the brand identity applied to it.
