I am a filmmaker and recent graduate of Falmouth University. For the past three years I have been studying a degree in film, immersing myself with the medium both theoretically and practically culminating in a much greater in-depth and mature knowledge of the subject area.
I specialise in writing, directing and editing while also being competent in all the central departments of the filmmaking process. I have directed award winning and festival competing short films and produced, shot and edited web videos for various clients. I enjoy being involved in all areas of the process from the inception of ideas right down to completing the final cut in post production.

- Stalemate - Short FilmWritten and Directed by Kieran Stringfellow Genre: Comedy Run time: 11 minutes Synopsis: As Christmas comes to an end, Liz the head of a small distant family attempts to recover what has been a cheerless holiday with a good old board game. However what was meant to be a night of family fun soon turns into all out war. Unfortunately the film cant be shared online as of yet due to it being submitted to various film festivals around the world. A short comedy film titled 'Life Insurance' which I directed from a pre-existing script written by a fellow peer. Produced with a small crew on a micro budget, the film is a satirical look into the mundanity of corporate offices and the bizarre characters that occupy these roles. As well as directing this project, I also acted as the producer and one of the lead editors.

Having learnt the basics of film production at college, I chose to pursue a degree in film to expand on my pre-existing knowledge. The degree provided me the opportunity to learn how to operate industry standard equipment such as digital cinema camera's and a range of lighting set ups. I was able to become even more acquitted with premiere pro whilst also learning how to use other softwares such as Avid Media Composes, Da Vinci Resolve and Pro Tools. During my time at Falmouth I was able to fully immerse myself within the medium both theoretically and practically. Culminating in a body of work with each project exceeding the former. I now feel I have the skills in a range of areas in video production and filmmaking to be able to assert myself within the industry.

During my time on this two year media course I was introduced to the basics of filmmaking. Learning how to operate a camera and sound equipment and how to edit video content using final cut pro and adobe premiere pro.
