About me
Figgydoo is a purpose-led international design & illustration studio. We've worked in the branding and event design space for 15 years – mainly collaborating with charities, not-for-profits, and good social causes.

  • Pawpear
    PawpearThe word for paper in Irish (as Gaeilge) is PÁIPÉAR, pronounced PAWPEAR. We are lifelong paper & stationery enthusiasts. Paper touches every aspect of our lives, from collecting 'fancy paper' as kids – to keeping a notebook companion – to sending and receiving cards & letters (instead of texts & emails). Our vibrant PAWPEAR stationery range celebrates vivid colour, distinctive design and premium paper. We are all writers, thinkers, poets and storytellers. The pen is our greatest tool. And all
  • Swimadelica
    SwimadelicaSwimadelica is a one-stop-shop selling ethically made gifts for swimmers. As well as sourcing unusual products from independent makers, Swimadelica founders Clare Ruby and Sophie Morgan wanted to produce their own branded items. Using their logo as a starting point, Figgydoo illustrated an eclectic and inclusive series of swimmers and created a variety of striking compositions using an extended colour palette applied to swim caps, towels, embroidered patches, postcards and prints. ​

    • Supervised and managed the Design team • Monitored team performance, identifying and encouraging the development of skills and interests • Focused on, and responsible for, the Design team’s productivity and collective impact • Set strategic direction by looking ahead 12 months, identifying areas of greatest need, and creating an improvement plan • Ensured efficient team operation and effective collaboration • Provided expert advice and guidance to the Design team and clients • Consulted with project managers to advise and create solutions for illustrations, diagrams & infographics, and overall product design • Oversaw the creative process of all projects from conceptualisation to launch • Approved all work created by the Design team, rigorously quality checking all output • Provided creative direction on all events: creating visual identities, signage systems, promo videos, motion graphics, and brand application across all touchpoints • Managed all ‘business as usual’ activities of the Design department; including: – Department budget – Liaising with multiple suppliers and sourcing new suppliers – Leading weekly team meetings – Assigning and scheduling work streams
