I started playing music at age 14 by teaching myself the guitar, and performing casually in a variety of bands. Around the age of 20 I began performing solo acoustic gigs, mainly as a support act to develop my stage presence and try my hand at singing. I began songwriting shortly after as more of a hobby than a craft but after a while I started to take my music more seriously. I decided to go back into education, so I worked my way through a year of graduate study in music production at the University of East London, and a three year BA in Music at Kingston University. It was there that I discovered my passion for composition and sound design. I have spent the last few years performing in bands as a guitarist, bassist, synthesist/keyboardist, singer, and primary songwriter.
