I am a creative, conscientious and goal-orientated marketing professional and event organiser with over three years’ experience of event delivery and campaign management. I am looking for a challenging role that allows me to combine my creativity and relationship management skills with my organisational and analytical skills. In my current role, I primarily project manage Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity’s flagship event, RBC Race for the Kids. The event is a 5k family fun run and was number 21 in the UK’s top 25 mass participation events in 2015. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing event strategy and overseeing a budget of £500k+. • Briefing and working with creative teams to develop design concepts, web pages and digital engagement strategies. • Working with Press Officers to develop and deliver a PR plan to support events. • Delivering integrated marketing campaigns across online and offline channels, including above the line and below the line campaigns. • Managing internal and external stakeholders, including senior level staff, and providing regular updates on KPIs. • Managing relationships with multiple agencies such as our event logistics agency, registration platform provider, fulfilment house and media agencies. • Account managing RBC Race for the Kids’ title sponsor, Royal Bank of Canada, and ensuring their sponsorship rights are fulfilled. • Planning and implementing brand activation opportunities for the charity and sponsors. • Line management of an Event Assistant and overseeing Customer Service delivery. • Implementing and monitoring customer communications plans utilising email marketing, social media and SMS. • Full evaluation and analysis post-event. • Supporting with the delivery of other events and campaigns in the portfolio.
