Excited to announce the recent launch of Trademark Tonic and looking forward to helping creatives and founders with protecting and taking care of their trade marks and designs, with focus on protection, registration, strategy, management, commercialisation and enforcement.
I am passionate about getting to know and understand the creatives and founders I work with, their business objectives, products and services, and ultimately to help nurture their trade marks and designs. I really enjoy working with people who are as excited and passionate about their brands and designs as I am about helping to protect and take care of them.
Prior to launching Trademark Tonic, I held the position of Global Trade Mark Counsel in a fast moving consumer goods FTSE 100 company, and spent several of years managing multiple global trade mark and design portfolios. Before this I worked in private practice. Upon qualifying as a UK Chartered Trade Mark Attorney in 2012, I received the Adrian Spencer Memorial Award for attaining the highest mark in the Advanced UK Trade Mark Law and Practice paper.
Managing multiple global in-house portfolios, has provided an invaluable first-hand insight and experience, into the potential scenarios, which can be faced in relation to a client's trade marks and designs.
I also have extensive experience dealing with brand portfolios in industries including fashion, arts, entertainment and retail and clients have included entrepreneurial start-ups, individuals, SMEs, academic institutions, emerging-growth companies and multi-national corporations. This wide variety of experience in diverse fields and with varied clients has fine-tuned my trade mark expertise.
I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA) and regulated by the Intellectual Property Regulation Board (IPReg).
