I worked with Northumberland County Council producing web and social media content on many different campaigns. One of the largest projects I was involved with was the Tour of Britain event where I produced content and engaged with their audience in order to market the event and communicate with the public effectively. The campaign had an extremely positive response and received international praise, as well as effectively growing the channels’ audience. I was also involved with the rebrand and relaunch of the Produced in Northumberland scheme. I worked alongside web developers to construct a user-friendly design that appealed to different target audiences. I was responsible for producing the website content for these customers. The relaunch saw an increase in website traffic and different businesses requesting to join the scheme. I was also involved with the relaunch of Active Northumberland’s website, Northumberland County Council's partner. From the initial research phase to the final tweaks post-launch, I was responsible for conducting all of the research and holding creative briefs with the staff. I then used this research and worked alongside developers and website officers to produce a new user-friendly website design that suited the needs of both staff and customers. This new design required a large volume of fresh content and I worked as part of a two-person team to write, edit and proof all pages. I then worked with the CMS to finalise all pages before launch. Post-launch, I worked with the Marketing Team to analyse user feedback which led to tweaking both content and design to address any issues. I was also involved with two relaunches of the council's website.
