About me

Cover Letter: To whom it may concern, I admire and would love to be apart of the creative growth, visually & internally for Another Magazine & work more directly with Katie Shillingford and so would be great to actually be involved in-house and be apart of the process, of building and developing , content & ideas further. I have previously interned at Condé Nast, with GQ Style. And before then, at DAZED Media. Over the years, I have developed knowledge, experiences & skills, as well as, understanding the principals & mechanics of how everything, relating to, digital & print production, eCommerce/ Editorial shoots, cover stories, advertising campaigns etc, work - Especially for many leading pioneers, within fashion & music. I am familiar with the duties regarding the administrative tasks, including research, organising & planning schedules during fashion weeks, handling normal day to day duties, assisting on shoots, organising & collecting credits, building & maintaining relationships between brands, advertisers, PR companies, directors, casting agents, photographers etc. Maintaining order and cleanliness of fashion cupboards and keeping a close eye on the finer details of the procedures and policies. Interning at DAZED & GQ Style, & later on, working with other publications such as HOUSE OF SOLO, HUNGER, FADER, VULKAN, TOKSICK, BRICK, 9/10, INDIE & I-D, has given me the tools to understand the ways in which an independent magazine & magazines apart of major publication houses, can function in different ways, yet attain similar great results & how fast paced everything can be - teaching me also how to adapt. This also led me to working with various e-commerce related jobs; Seventy7 Studios, Tesco, Labrum, Olivia Holland, Bang & Olufsen & also Asos. As an e-commerce Stylist - i had to commit, to doing 50 shots per day for various catalogues for the website; plus models, sports models, product stills etc. I am great at managing assistants, as I have done so in the past & have had experience in managing creative teams, for various major events at V&A Museum, Battersea Power Station, the Brit School, Diageo, Zibrant Events, O2 Arena etc. I am prepared to stay late hours & understand that the commitment I make to the team, will be my all. I use my initiative, I’m a team player, always have a great energy & able to lead when necessary. Working with stylists such as ZOE COSTELLO, LOUISE FORD, LUKE JEFFERSON DAY, ELGAR JOHNSON, VANESSA COYLE, RAUL CASTILLA, CARLOTTA CONSTANT - along with many others - has given me the experiences to fully comprehend and be prepared for the exciting, yet hectic responsibilities faced by a Stylist. Working with various luxury brands, models, advertisers etc. I value Another and admire the aesthetic the publication upholds. The focus on every detail, the visuals, the approach to develop solutions regarding social and environment issues. Another are pioneers in the fashion industry & create change from within, that leads to pivotal moments within the industry, as well as the overall community. And it would be a privilege to join such a creative team and be able to grow, learn and develop further - and revitalise my creative foundations - at Another (Dazed).
