- Somewhere On The Daly - TillyThese are a few illustrations from the second book in the Somewhere On The Daly series written by Thomas Rees. It's about a little wallaby called Tilly who is out looking for someone to play with in the Australian outback. Along the way she meets plenty of zany characters. It was a joy to work on and I especially loved researching the different wildlife and plants to incorporate into the backgrounds. I love working with Tom and Jetoma gallery and can't wait to continue with the series.
- Mock Magazine Front CoversI've been having some fun making mock magazine covers of different natural geographic style magazines. I've loved making up the names and fiddling about with text. It's been great practice for composition and graphic design. I realised it's a lot of trial and error with finding fonts that fit the vibe you're going for but that's all part of the fun.
