About me
I am a very outgoing, confident individual determined to succeed, but also passionate about what I want to be doing with my career. I am currently in my second year at Goldsmiths: University of London, studying English and Media, I choose to study this degree given my interest in television production. Having worked in a very high demanding administrative role for the past three years, I have gained many skills in time management, cooperation with my co-workers, but also being a leader to a group of individuals and maintain a professional relationship with parents and external companies. I am really keen to get some experience under my belt to prepare me for when I graduate. Being a part of the ITV Insight Programme I have gained knowledge of many production companies, but specifically production companies that are willing to offer work experience to young and aspiring students, looking to begin a career in TV production. I also have a huge interest in fashion, as it is always a thriving industry. It is almost a culture, something we encounter every day. The way we dress, depicts who we are as a person, or does it? But even in the idea of television and film, and how fashion is incorporated to depict our characters and sense of humour. A trend that will never end.

I work as part of a team of six administrators and my daily duties included answering telephone enquiries, checking in visitors, chasing students for required documents and assisting members of the Director of Studies team. I undertook various additional responsibilities such as conducting tours of the college and assisting the Easter revision team, as well as playing a key role in the recruitment of new students for the upcoming academic year. Whilst at MPW, I also delegated work appropriately to a group of six temporary employees. I learnt how to affectively foster and maintain strong professional relationships with parents, department heads and various external companies. I was also required to regularly input data into the CRM database whenever a new student was registered.

During my time with The Farm Group, I was based over three of their offices in the West End, learning the ropes of the day to day runner duties spending time in the Library processing data entry incoming and outcoming tapes, and a day with Edit Support. I also had the chance to accompany an editor in an Audio Booth, as well as assisting an editor whilst he was grading the latest Series of Made In Chelsea.
