About me

I am Lithuanian born creative dreamer and pioneer with sights set on bringing my signature style to the Fashion and Art world. Having graduated from the prestigious London College of Fashion I have worked as an independent artist and designer perfecting my unique take on graphic print and wearable art. I often explore an internalised darkness with my work which challenges the viewer and provokes an almost cerebral response. This darkness is explored through digital manipulation and portrait photography and while macabre in effect there is always a colourful undertone that implies duality. Through commissions and personal projects I am not afraid to bare my own identity and through this connect with and provoke my audience.

Jean Pierre Braganza

Feb 2012 - Jun 2012
  • London, United Kingdom
  • Internship
  • I was Intern during my time in college, helping out in the studio with production finishes, print retouching/design and general assistance. I also attended Premiere Vision in Paris on behalf of Jean to select fabrics and materials for his collections. Jean-Pierre Braganza represents a dark and unique aesthetic infused with the unexpected. Black, androgynous and sleek is the dominating look but unconventional colour, silhouette and detail make appearances that provide the potent edge that Braganza has become known for. He is obsessed with the shadowy corners of the imagination and the paradoxes within. Associated with a rock 'n roll clientele, the brand remains uncompromisingly hard-edged with an ear to the London underground.

BA (Hons) Textile Art, Design and Fashion (2.1 grade)

London College of Fashion

Sep 2009 - Jun 2013
  • London, United Kingdom
  • The BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles: Print course was situated in the School of Design and Technology. Studying there I gained skills to become innovative textile designer for the fashion industry. Textiles demand an inventive approach to design and realisation, and this course focused on creative approaches to the development and realisation of contemporary fashion textiles. I believe that technology and skills inform the design process and foster creativity. During my studies I have explored surface pattern and texture for fashion fabrics through a strong grounding in drawing techniques, from mark making to illustration, coupled with use of a variety of traditional craft and contemporary digital print processes, including the design of engineered placement prints. I have also studied a range of embellishment processes including embroidery, knit, which have extended my potential for creative design in fashion and art in general.
