An English Literature and Language graduate from the University of Leeds aspiring to develop a career in marketing, focused on strategy, communication and creativity. My current role at Siemens PLM is providing me with a foundation in understanding high-level go-to-market insight and strategies to plan, develop and execute both marketing and sales enablement campaigns on both a global and field scale, working internationally across various time-zones. I also have strong experience in social media planning, content creation and management. • Facilitate the project management and communication of global and EMEA’s marketing campaigns from start to finish, working closely with campaign managers, field marketers and zone managers on a weekly basis. • Responsible for creating reports and dashboards to increase performance in the Wrike tool for internal stakeholders. • Shadow global campaign managers working with key internal stakeholders to develop practical marketing knowledge of campaign lifecycle management. • Create and manage weekly content including PDFs, graphics and videos for a Tips and Tricks space aimed to provide on-boarders with quick and accessible information. • Liaise with Wrike Support to ensure the tool meets users’ requirements and facilitates the project management of marketing’s campaigns’ performance.
• Represented a variety of brands such as, Cooperative, SheIn, Allen and Overy at events on campus. • Created content for social media and my personal blog to promote the various events and discounts offered.
Organised events, workshops, social media and direct emails, while building relationships with internal external stakeholders to promote job opportunities to the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Culture’s students.
• Managed all social media accounts, planned content and analysed data (weekly and monthly reporting), in which time LinkedIn's following increased by 150%, Twitter 21% and Facebook 11%. • Implemented a Social Media Employee Advocacy Programme to improve the marketing impact by using internal stakeholders’ thought leadership and industry knowledge to generate a wider reach. • Worked closely with in-house graphic designer and external agencies to create content for social media. • Planned and managed a social campaign for an event in Frankfurt where I executed a Twitter Takeover, videos and customer insight, which was also used for future marketing promotions. • Responsible for the first ever training manual for the new marketing intern and prepared and executed their training for the duration of one week. • Featured in two videos, (https://bit.ly/2OFNeVJ & http://bit.ly/2eYlACZ). • Produced, edited and proofread copy for Wikipedia pages, working closely with the Director of Marketing. • During my time at Mentor Graphics Corporation, the business was acquired by Siemens.
Collected unique market research specific to clients, attended focus groups to share my opinions on projects and collated trends around Leeds/campus.
Achieved Upper Second-Class. My dissertation investigated how language is used in the media to portray specific attitudes and identities surrounding the 'fat' community.
