Part of a small design team, catering for a global brand, I am often leading simultaneous creative briefs set by stakeholders throughout the company. I handle the design process from conceptualisation to delivery. I’m often working to short deadlines, so strong communication skills and excellent organisation allow me to plan projects which incoporate collaboration and feedback throughout the process, while still delivering projects on time. Sometimes this will include a responsibility to manage agencies, freelancers and external collaborations.
Regular projects include designing print and digital ads, animations, websites, promotional collateral and stands for marketing and recruitment; financial reports; branded slide decks and infographics for sales; artwork for media coms; print layout and websites for whitepapers; illustration packs, slide-decks and signage for events; branded giveaways; and anything between.

During my role in the marketing team at Schuco, my responsibilities revolved around visual design and art direction for all company output. After showing an active interest in the industry, I also contributed to messaging and direction for the campaigns. Concepts were informed and influenced by research insights, company strategy, direction from suppliers and working alongside clinical specialists.
An interesting part of my role here, was working with our European suppliers on advertising and campaign messaging. There were two main challenges here, the first was to marry their branding with our own and the second was to tailor their adverts for the UK market and trends.
Typically with a focus on increasing campaign activity and driving sales, I was able to influence new methods for the delivery of communication. I confidently pitched proposals for tasks and work alongside other departments to build effective solutions with valuable impact. Efficient planning enabled me to drive simultaneous projects to completion, on time and to a high standard.
