About me

I'm a writer/performer (and occasional director/producer) for stage and screen. My work is primarily comedy-drama, often with a genre skew, and focuses largely on outsiders trying to get by in the world. Recently my work has been shortlisted for BAFTA Rocliffe's SitCom prize and placed highly in call-outs for BBC Writers (top 4%) and Finish Line Script Competition (US). I've been commissioned to treatment stage as part of Channel 4's 4Stories short film initiative. My solo show 'Glitch' debuted at VAULT Festival in March 2020 (...yup). When I'm not doing all of that, I have worked for several corporate clients including Premier Inn. My previous life was as an arts and culture critic for Drowned in Sound, BBC News Online and The Guardian; and working across multiple music industry roles including social media and events management.

  GlitchGlitch is a play about autism, grief, small towns and video games. I'm the writer and (eventual) performer. I've been developing this script on the Soho Theatre Writer's Lab. I am hoping to set up the production and bring it to audiences in late 2019/early 2020.
