About me

I am a highly organised Production Co-ordinator with over 5 years experience working with designers such as Meadham Kirchhoff, Ashish and Marques Almeida. Having worked in a range of various roles from Print design to Studio management as well as my most recent role as a production Co-Ordinator, I consider myself a highly organised and adaptable person. I have always been interested in pursuing a career within other creative fields and I believe now is a great time to seek new and exciting opportunities. I am very self driven and enjoy working on my own, but I also consider myself a helpful and intuitive team player. I think from working within production departments for various high-end fashion brands I am used to a fast paced ever changing work environment and have often been the main point of contact with factories and suppliers from all over Europe, India and China. Therefore gaining excellent written and verbal communication skills and having developed a professional and pleasant manner. I have experience working with a range of programs including a good knowledge of the Adobe Suite - mainly within Photoshop as well as the Microsoft Office and Google suites. I also have a good knowledge of the screen printing process having run my own t-shirt brand for the past year.

          • My main responsibilities in my current role include; - Working under the guidance of the Production Manager to ensure all day to day tasks are completed - Ordering the majority of all Raw materials and trims for the 3 seasons we produce per year - as well as any thing needed for store sample orders and capsule collections. - Raising all RM purchase orders in Zedonk as well as meticulously tracking and maintaining these to ensure any changes are actioned and updated immediately on our system. - Chasing any RM deliveries and overseeing the production assistant in tracking these. - Managing store sample orders and capsule collections to ensure delivery deadlines are met - Managing UK factories and small scale off shore factories. - Communicating daily with the team in Portugal and our manufacturers to ensure the production timeline is on track and help to solve any problems which may arise. - Updating factories on a daily basis with the most up to date delivery information for RM’s / trims - Adding store sample & capsule collection orders into Zedonk as production orders. - Confirming RM allocation / factory splits and delivery addresses to all suppliers. - Tracking and processing all production invoices from suppliers and manufacturers each season - Providing monthly as well as seasonal Statement of accounts to the finance director to help with cash flow forecasting - Keeping track of any faulty items per season and liaising with the relevant factories to negotiate discounts. - Assisting the production manager in the quality control process for Raw materials when needed. - Ensuring that compliance forms are completed by manufacturers and suppliers when necessary. - Setting up new internal tracking systems from time to time when the need becomes apparent - Dealing directly with the logistics department in order to assist with deliveries from the factories to our warehouse - Overseeing the production assistant and giving them daily tasks to complete - Keeping a log of leftover fabrics and trims at the end of each season - Respecting other departments timelines and having a good understanding of how your own work directly affects other departments. - Other relevant duties as required

          • - Tracking and processing all production invoices and sending proof of payments to the relevant recipients - Setting up Zedonk SKU’S for each garment in the new collection working closely alongside the development and technical team - this includes inputting the following information: fabric compositions, size ranges, factory allocation, raw materials and make costs. - Editing Zedonk with any changes, cancellations and updates that occur throughout the season - Inputting all HTS codes per season and keeping manufacturer and supplier information up to date on Zedonk and DHL platforms - Calculating Production costs per season - and relaying this information to our financial director - Chasing raw material deliveries and updating manufacturers when necessary - Organising and packing all fabrics and trims to be sent out to factories - Attaining origin information and certificates of Raw Materials derived from animal skins which may be required by our logistics dept - Produce any disclaimers needed for production - Keeping track of all credit and discounts we accrue with factories each season - Arranging and tracking any faulty returns - Updating the M’A supply chain handbook.

          • Responsible for the day to day running of all areas of a busy studio - Liaising with factories in India and UK to ensure all requests are met and that production runs smooth and timely. - Fabric sourcing on a day to day basis for sampling across all departments as well as problem solving and finding solutions to any fabric issues that may arise upon production. - Ordering fabric, trims and buttons for both sampling and production per season. - Assisting in the research process for the coming season, including looking at past seasons, best sellers to improve fits and sizing issues - Dealing with all shipments from the studio in London including tracking and processing all invoices and payments, creating delivery notes, packing lists and commercial invoices. Overseeing all personal orders and inputting HTS codes on Zedonk each season. - Running Ashish’s sub Line T’AINT including sourcing suppliers and manufacturers based in the UK, taking care of all orders, dealing with invoices and payments as well as all shipments and personal order requests - Being present at the showroom in Paris, liaising with Buyers in appointments and assisting with sales when needed, taking appointments alone to discuss stockist requests for the T’AINT line. - First point of call for press, dealing with all archive requests as well as being entrusted with handling confidential and VIP clients custom requests. - Solely preparing the VAT return each annual quarter including all invoices, petty cash and paperwork for the business. - Hiring and daily management of interns for the season, being their first point of contact for any issues that may arise be it work related or personal. Ensuring they are fulfilling all tasks which need carried out for the day. Organising both male and female fit models each season and recommending season relevant models to participate in the show. - Organisation of Ashish’s busy diary and keeping on top of all his meetings as well as providing critical paths for collaboration projects.

          • Having started my time at Meadham Kirchhoff as a design intern, I was promoted to production assistant after 2 months, from here on in my responsibilities included - Preparing components to be sent for production, including all materials, trims and buttons  - Assisting on visits to new manufacturers and on the allocation of units for sampling and production to current factories. - Preparing labels, swing tags and size labels for both mens and womens production each season - Carrying out quality control on production to ensure all pieces were produced to a high standard - Being trained in the use of Zedonk and using this on a daily basis to input product costings and HTS codes - Preparing shipments for delivery, dealing with couriers, generating invoices and providing fabric compositions. - Conversing with our PR company, assisting on press days and seating front of house at our LFW shows - Being responsible for pulling from the archives for various shoots and exhibitions. - General office admin work including organising the fabric library and categorising research. - Using photoshop and Illustrator to create original print ideas, intricate fonts and season relevant artwork - Exposing the screens and assisting with hand screen printing for the S/S14 menswear “I do nothing”collection and the S/S15 womenswear “Reject everything” collection. - Due to working within such a small team my role would often cover assisting the sales manager with sales related queries and logistical issues as well as providing support to the studio manager throughout the sampling and development process and with the day to day running of a fast paced design studio.
