About me

I am a London-based bilingual political multisensory immersive installation artist with varied experience working in the creative industries. I’m particularly passionate about educational programming and events management. I have taught and curated learning at the Saatchi Gallery, Cygnets School of Art and Kingston University. Additionally, I organised various large scale occasions with Cass Art, Troubadour London, RHACC and ACS Hillingdon. Furthermore, I gathered a wide knowledge of art installation working with Auto Italia and the Bargehouse OXO Tower alongside customer service skills through front of house positions with Beyond Projects and Brighsparks.

      Education

      Currently

      Sep 2017
      • Kingston upon Thames, United Kingdom
      • I aim to continue being a well-rounded candidate, working in the creative industries while completing my degree. My practice has evolved enormously throughout my Foundation year, and as I begin to experiment with sculpture, installation and performance, I hope to continue developing a visual language of my own and artwork with a strong message. I create mostly around the idea of essential calmness and spirituality as well as a meditative approach to life largely promoted through craft and folklore, and how they wilt within us due to the constant rush and anxiety of the post-industrial society. I am also very interested in Russian culture, and therefore work around the essence of the Russian person and its relevance to modern day politics.

      2017

      Oct 2016 - Jun 2017
      • Loughborough, United Kingdom
      • During the Foundation course, I developed an extensive body of artwork and expanded my practice from painting and photography into installation and sculpture. I worked collaboratively with a group of students and tutors to curate and invigilate our final show and fully clear and prime the studios.
