About me
KYLÄTASKU + KARALA is a creative duo based between London and Berlin. Contemporary artist Ville Kylätasku (*1979) and Photographer Samuli Karala (*1977) collaborate internationally with works on photography and moving image. Their artistic approach is a vivid hybrid derived from their experience in the fields of fashion and portraiture photography, and contemporary art, often resulting cinematographic aesthetics, Neon Noir, and bold colourful drama. Work references include magazines such as: Vogue, I-D, The Observer Magazine, ELLE, Marie Claire, InStyle, South China Morning Post, Muse, Elle and Emirates Woman and commercial and advertorials clients such as WWF, Bvlgari, Magnum (Unilever), Audi, Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Fazer, Unibet, Nokia, LIDL, Warner Music, Universal Music and Finnair / Finavia Portraits Kelly Rowland, Adrian Grenier, Doyle Brunson, Morfydd Clark, Thomas Azier etc.
