About me
I am the founder of FRANK'S REMEDIES a vegan skincare brand specifically for acne and its after effects. The brand was birthed during my 4-5 year struggle/battle with acne and not having any permanent results. After study and travel, I learnt about the different cultural perceptions of acne and how they differed across the continents of the world. I came back to London and through many trial and errors, I formulated products, and a skincare routine that finally cleared my skin. I also recently launched a positive social impact project called THE GLOW UP in partnership with Battersea Arts Centre. The project is a 5 week programme of workshops at secondary schools that aims to raise body positivity (image) and mental health for 11-15 year olds. Going through the acne myself and having a product based business, I wanted to do something different, by having a project that also catered for the emotional aspects of having a skin condition, especially with everything now-a-days being so image focused (social media pressures), I found it be real need in society.
