About me
Freelance poet, writer, facilitator and producer working for ten years with learners and audiences of all ages in schools, hospitals, museums, galleries and universitis. Editor of several poetry anthologies and performer and coordinator of live literature events. Co-founded refugee and migrant poetry collective Bards Without Borders and currently and recently working as a creative writing facilitator with The Ministry of Stories, National Literacy Trust, St Georges Hospital and Counterpoints Arts. Ten years of also working in youth engagement, evaluation and grants fundraising for youth focused NGOs in the UK and Bosnia. I am passionate about bringing together poetry and human rights, love taking poetry to unexpected places and am always keen to collaborate with artists on exciting stories that need to be told.
