About me

Lana Hughes Lettering Studio is an independent design studio focusing on the art of hand lettering, & more recently - Chainstitch Embroidery. Her work spans across branding & editorial design to embroidery, sign writing & murals. The majority of works are created in a quiet corner of North London with her accomplice Sumo the Doxiepoo (Sausage dog / poodle in case you were wondering!). Each of her designs revolve around bold typographic pieces that have an impact. Through the use of hand drawn lettering, Lana’s designs are brought to life with the focus and aim to inspire the viewer using positive & meaningful messages. Her lettering designs can be seen around London, and has so far travelled as far afield as the Eiffel Tower to Vietnam & Australia with her work. Selected clients include Stella Magazine, MOO, CAMRA, British Airways, LinkedIn, Liberty London, Southbank London, London Zoo & Kiehl's… As well as becoming a published author in 2018, with the hand lettering book 'Forty ways to write I Love You'.
