- Margate Guide - 24 HoursMy minor project is a small guide for Margate’s most popular areas and places which the public mostly families would like to visit. The Margate guide communicates via its strong photography as well as the cherish colour range expressing the modern and historical theme of Margate today. The guide is for visitors who plan to spend a day (24 hours) in Margate. The guide is designed to be a pocket-based guide for mainly adults to take control of. The Guide is designed to be a keepsake for the visitor to keep as a souvenir. The content provides a chapter of Album it – Note it. For families who visit Margate who are able to take pictures of the places they visit in Margate and keep it at the back of the guide to show others. The person might be an observer who would like to take notes as well as sketch and make the guide a journal, a note book as well as a sketchbook at the same. The guide is a give away guide, it can be found in tourist information desks, train stations, bus station, galleries, and museum even public shops as well as tourist information staff handing the guide out in the street. Anywhere you can imagine it is there for the public giving basic info of the Pubs, galleries historical places as well as landmarks etc. of Margate. The shapes in the guide are inspired by the buildings surrounded in the area harmonize the shapes creating a modern contemporary outlook in the guide. Leaving a historical mark to viewers.
- Infinite Fantasy - Wallpaper CollectionMy major project is a collection of designed wallpapers communicating through its decorative characters. The purpose of the wallpapers is to integrate with society via being a source of interior design that can be applied almost to every domestic and non domestic environment such as kitchen, bathroom, lounge, sitting room,bedroom, cafes, bars, library, nursery, indoor car parks etc. The patterns are flexible and if prefered they can also be mixed and matched to decorate a wall. My collection is called Infinite Fantasy Wallpaper Collection as I enjoyed making them almost took me into a dream would. For me they are not only wallpapers but an element of me. They describe the term now as well as instant, spontaneous and freely the way they have been designed. I have designed a swatch also a booklet to make it easier for others to picture the patterns on their wall.
