Hi, I'm Laura, a passionate freelance writer and digital marketer with big dreams to fulfill.
By day, i'm part of a talented team, in charge of marketing the Goodwood Revival, Festival of Speed and Members' Meeting at Goodwood, which is all the right kinds of fun and challenging. Every year, we deliver unique, world-class sporting events, from our corner of West Sussex and not even 2020 could stop us, as we took our events online.
I'm also a writer and during the pandemic, I decided to turn my infrequently paid writing hobby into a fully-fledged side passion. I now have my own freelance writing business, Laura Writes. My passion is empowering businesses and brands with words that shine, whilst keeping their marketing goals in mind. I celebrate copy and content writing as a creative way of leveraging and shaping brand identity. I'm also currently working on building my editorial portfolio.
Away from work, I create content for my personal growth blog and love finding new methods of self development. I'm also a keen and often terrible Yogi, with really great Netflix recommendations. They're my grown-up hobbies. My inner-child's favourite things (because, who are we kidding) include small, furry animals, drinking tea and looking at pictures of 90's fashion on Instagram.
