I’m Laura, a graphic designer & art director in London ✌️
My aim is to create a genuine connection with the audience through my work, and I do that by bringing out the fun and humanity in each project. I look for meaningful projects with a strong purpose I can resonate with.
With over 8 years of mixed industry experience, I specialise in brand identity, art direction & design for branding and marketing communications. As a freelancer I am often working on editorial design projects and illustration briefs that give me the chance to focus on what I am super passionate about: print.
I take pride in the meticulous attention I put in all details, and I will take a project from initial concept development all the way through to design and delivery thanks to my solid technical skills.
My illustrations are playful and vibrant, created mixing digital & analog elements, and very often feature creatures with silly faces.
Projects
- Other People's Shopping ListsThis project is the outcome of my lockdown collaboration with Emma Graney (www.emmagraney.co.uk). We worked together on this little book about her amazing collection of 500+ shopping lists that she found over 10 years. Emma’s collection is like an anthology of short stories. Each piece of paper can tell so much through all its details: the paper, the colours, the handwriting, the layout (or lack thereof). This has been a really fun project to work on!

Graphic DesignerSocial Entertainment Ventures
- London, United KingdomFull Time
Working as the lead designer for the three brands that sit under Social Entertainment Ventures (Bounce, AceBounce & Puttshack), my role was to ensure that the brand values, identities and propositions are always portrayed correctly and consistently, from graphic design, interior design and in-venue and online presence.
I joined the company to work on the launch of AceBounce, translating the existing Bounce visual identity for the American market and successively developing its set of brand guidelines for the marketing campaigns. My role in the company then evolved: alongside the day-to-day support to the marketing teams, I have been an integral part of the creation and launch of Puttshack: I worked on interior and environment design for the venue, designed murals, wayfinding and supergraphics, set up the brand guidelines and designed all the assets and applications that the new brand needed (menu design, posters etc). Liaising with the third party agencies and design studios that were involved with the brands and managing deadlines and schedules for all design projects, was key to my role.
