Laura Dester is an Italian photographer and visual artist based in London & Italy. She uses photography, performance and moving image to explore concepts of space, memory and belonging, as well as the human body and the body in space. She graduated in Documentary Photography and then expanded her interest in the beauty and fashion industries, always drawing inspiration from different fields and experimenting with techniques and subjects. She also has a experience in graphic design, and continues to bring that side of her work forward.
Laura's practice expands through different medias and wants to leave space for growth and learning in different fields.
She co-owns an online vintage clothing store, that lets her explore her love for fashion while also gaining experience in content creation on social media platforms.
