Laura Gaggero is an Italian photographer based in London and Italy, a graduate of BA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at London College of Communication. With her practice, she aims to explore the relationship between empathy and photography, participatory photography, and women's contemporary representation. Laura's practice includes different mediums and often focuses on photography as a tactile experience. Her love for photographing the women around her starts from a need for a more present Female Gaze to show how women want to see themselves and how they want to be seen.
In her latest project, 'I Haven't Said Goodbye Yet', Laura embarked on a path of
self-discovery through a narrative of family loss and the need for healthy grief.
