My name is Laura and I currently work for a luxury fashion brand in London as a Samples Assistant - co-ordinating samples movements within the business and throughout external projects. My current role has allowed me to work with many different departments within the business such as Styling, Digital, E-Com, Product Development, Merchandising, Wholesale, VIP and Press. I have also worked on projects such as Luna New Year Campaign, London Fashion Week, and Wholesale Markets in both London and Paris.
Prior to moving to London, I worked for a small fashion house based in the South West of England as an Assistant Merchandiser, working my way up from Graduate to Assistant. This helped to build my knowledge and understanding of the different departments within a fashion house.
Although my current background is analytical I would love to use the skills that I have developed through industry experience as well as my creative degree. I love the fast paced industry that I currently work in, however I'm a conceptual thinker who is inspired by not only fashion but interiors, literature, music, psychology and art.
