Working at Dominic Schuster Limited as a freelance artificer, I have enhanced my iknowledge of industrial processes. Specifically antiquing mirrors, producing hand-made ‘antiqued’ mirrors to clients’ specification from a variety of models. As a Swiss, dealing with questions and inqueries from european clients, including France, Austria and Switzerland. Moreover I develop new skills in restoration of old furniture and antiques.
I was assisting the team with photographic shoots, image research, creating mock-ups and field research, using Adobe CS6.
I acquired my skill set supporting the team in making a scenography for the Natural museum in Thurgau, Switzerland. Working with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop & Solidworks, Image research, Creating architectual models, Field research.
As an interior designer I was dealing with customers‘ questions and enquiries over the phone and email as well as acting as front of house with face to face sales. Administration including the invoicing. And most importantly producing beautiful objects.
I successfully completed an apprenticeship as an interior designer. My responsibilities involved the management of the factory operations and ensuring good customer service. I have obtained experience in the management of projects and budgets whilst maintaining the highest level of standards in high pressure situations.
