About me
Product designer and ceramic artist from Barranquilla, Colombia.
In the years I’ve had to explore my voice as such, there have been several attempts to come close and understand what I find is the issue at hand— what is human emotion? Approaching it as a tool that enables us to build based on memory, transcend the rational limits and explore the deep aspects of being, ideally connecting us with our innermost self.
Projects
- Alchimia et Infirmos AnimaA series of contemplative objects that, by means of interaction, generate an expe-rience that allows the user to externalize, exorcise and cure their sick soul. They are, through design, the tangible translation of some manifestations of the diseases of the soul. In this sense they are their materialized projection, understanding that these passions go through hues, changing stages, suffer a metamorphosis, and it is precisely in this transformation that they recover. In other words, pain is neither static nor permanent, its recognition might help in its acceptance, which guides the path to healing.
