About me
First Class and multi-award winning Events Management graduate with the ability to work within fast-paced and demanding environments. Hands-on experience in event planning, logistics, coordination and administration through a series of internships, placements and projects: • Corporate Events internship with Origin Events in 2014 • Double-award winning Aberdeen Student Festival in 2016 • Planning and delivery of the RGU Go: India pilot project in 2016 • Coordinating HRH Prince Harry’s royal visit to Street sport in 2016 • Planning and administrating both the 2016 and 2017 Aberdeen International Youth Festival As a returned Project Trust volunteer, I have a proven willingness and ability to travel, with a positive outlook towards cultural and international collaboration. During the 12-month volunteering placement, I worked as a high school teacher and lived with a host family in a rural village in South Africa. This experience demonstrates my adaptability and resilience to challenges and change. The knowledge and skills I have gained throughout my international experiences and higher education has cultivated my personal and professional ambitions. Following my most recent venture working on British Council Scotland’s Momentum delegation programme, I am currently seeking a graduate opportunity to grow and develop within an ambitious organisation.
