About me
I'm Laura Pantony, an illustrator living in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside in the UK with my lovely little family - my husband, 2 sons and dog! I've been illustrating and designing for about 7 years and have experience in greeting cards, art prints and childrenswear. My main focus and passion is children's illustration but I do enoy branching out too.
I made the leap to finally go freelance about 18 months ago, it has always been my dream! I absolutely love working on a range of different projects! Through freelancing and working in-house I have seen my designs in Paperchase, Up with Paper, Sainsburys, Clintons, Thortful, Scribbler. Bibetta, Bambino Mio, and I have enjoyed working with independent brands such as Yoyo and Co, and Manncubs.
I have 2 different brands, lauradidthis is for my illustration work and Little Whale Print Co focuses on my childrenswear prints.

For this in-house role I solely illustrated the prints at Bambino Mio. The themed collections consisted of nappies, potty training pants and swimwear. For each collection I got the designs print ready to be manufactured onto fabric. I liaised with overseas suppliers and set up each file complete as a seamless pattern ready with Pantone references.
I also attended comp shops and tradeshows and created regular trend reports.
