About me

Currently studying my final year of a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design degree at the University of Portsmouth. I have achieved Distinction* Distinction* Distinction* grade in Level 3 BTEC Graphic Design at Fareham College. I have always had a very strong creative streak and a wide imagination. I achieved GCSE grades in Graphic Design, as well as a Level 2 Diploma in Creative and Media. This gave me the fascinating knowledge of the creative industries; thus showing me Graphic Design. I enjoy exploring and learning new techniques. I have developed my technical knowledge, such as key skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. I love challenges and thrive to constantly learn new skills. I thrive to boost my technical skills and learn new programs to give me wider design opportunities. I have gained skills in image transfer, mono-printing, light trails, book making, screen printing, Cyanotype, photomontage, lino printing, spray painting and professional work mounting. I have an interest in Brand and Identity, Promotion, Illustration, both working in a team and independently, photography, and information design. I am incredibly passionate about Graphic design; it is an important part of who I am. I never stop thinking creatively and see aspects of Graphic Design in everything I do. I really enjoy what I do and am very positive about keeping to deadlines and achieving high levels by always going the extra mile. I am currently seeking work experience/internships, and connections.   • I really enjoyed this role, because I am proud to be a representative for Fareham College. I love to give visitors the warm welcome I received on my first day, and every day after that! I regularly helped out at promotional events such as Open days/evenings, taster days, induction days, awards evenings, showcases etc. I, also, helped to prepare for such events by organising equipment and materials needed on the day. For this job role, I believe communication is key, which has really helped me to improve my confidence. Representing the College at internal and external events and representing students from a curriculum department at the Student Board.
