Projects
  • Agency Intern
Agency InternWorked as an intern with Andrew Nurnberg Associates. I picthed novels, translated reviews, wrote synopsizes, reception, pa work. Gained a lot of insight into the world of an agency and the publishing world. This also made me a better writer: being surrounded by perfectionists and seeing what works in the market what does not make a profit.
Work history
    Caterer & Freelance Reviewer
For At Your Service: The catering industry is fast paced. Not only do new requests and challenges arise out of the ordered chaos that defines this industry at any moment, but you have to have to react to it instantaneously, too, whilst keeping at what you're already doing. It makes you think quick on your feet, articulate problems and solutions to the team and boss, and teaches you to conquer all challenges in high pressure situations. For What's Hot London I write film reviews. It's a good way to always have a finger on the pulse of contemporary cinema.
    Project Manager
     -
A Berlin based charity. The philosophy of the charity is that the best way to help someone is to teach them how to help yourself. A project I oversaw did just that: we went to one of Berlin's rougher schools and organized a fund raiser with the students to buy them electronic black boards. We paid the difference. The kids learned that no matter who you are, or where you come from, you can improve your life. The project was a huge success.
