About me

I'm Laura, a creative freelance writer of six years, originally from the UK but living and working in Asia since 2015. I currently work remotely as the lead copywriter for LGBTQ+ luxury travel publication Mr Hudson (Mrhudsonexplores.com) developing SEO-driven articles, itineraries, email campaigns and sponsored pieces. Previously, I have worked as an education writer for QS University Rankings (TopUniversities.com) and am an ongoing contributor for a range of clients including inflight magazines (EVA Air), luxury travel publications (DestinAsian) and content agencies (lifestyle, home improvement, culture). While remote work is great, I'm looking to align my career with my ethics, using my voice to promote change in the world. If I can work on human stories, scripts and comedy while doing this, bringing much-needed joy to audiences across the world, then that would be a real dream!
